They are thick, chewy and are perfect with milk.
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated white sugar
8 (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups quick cooking oats
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup M&M's

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
2. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
3. Stir in the vanilla.
4. Mix in baking soda and oats until well blended.

6. Drop by rounded tablespoon on cookie sheet. (I use a cookie scoop)
7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake!
8. Cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheets until cookies are set. Transfer to wire racks; cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
